I have been working part time in the industry since 2005 in many different roles, and consider myself to be a versatile technician. I am a graduate of the UNITEC technical theatre program, holding a Diploma in Performance Technology for study completed in 2011 and 2012.
I have skills in lighting, sound, video, multimedia and stage management.
I have knowledge of basic electronics, which gives me the skills to troubleshoot and maintain the back-end of the systems that I use.
My troubleshooting skills are well-developed, as I understand the way that equipment works, so I am easily able to fault find and make systems work under pressure.
Please take a look at my portfolio to see examples of events that I have worked on, and my current CV.
You can find my contact details and a contact on the contact page, if you'd like to get in touch.
“Just had the pleasure of working with David as a sound engineer on my Comedy Festival show. It was a challenge for him – helping us set up and pack down every night and then delivering a consistent sound through a completely improvised show. A rockstar!”
